I write lots each day.
Soon, I'll be inspired.
Today, I'm tired.

Good Deed
I heard an urgent sound.
An old man fell to the ground.
He cried out in pain and me, he found.
I helped the man rebound.
Happily, now he can get around.

Gone Too Early
The selfish people show their greed.
Cooperation, they must heed.
Disarm your defenses
And come to your senses.
Let us save the children, I plead.

Save the Children
We must protect our child
From being defiled.
We must give them aid
When they're afraid.
We must comfort
When they're hurt.
We must listen hard,
When their heart's charred.
These crimes are brainless.
These victims aren't stainless.
Criminals aren't born mean.
They learn to make a crime scene.
What evils do we teach?
We must save each.
We must save our youth.
We must spread the truth.

Resolve
It is New Years Day.
It's as cold as May.
I'm looking forward to what's ahead.
I will avoid a hospital bed.
Let's have fun and play.

Be Safe
Please don't drink and drive, or fight.
Celebrate the year.
A new one is here.
Enjoy the firework light.

Unsweet Heat
Shopping is almost complete.
The new year, we shall soon meet.
Where is the white snow
If the temp. is low?
Then there is the unsweet heat.

Restless Boy
There once was a boy who wouldn't go to sleep.
There was no addition of soft woolly sheep.
He crawls and rolls around,
Making a giggly sound.
His drained mommy sighs and desires to weep.

Christmas
Christmas is a day of gift-giving;
A day of familial fight forgiving.
The morning becomes a land of toys.
Joy and laughter come from girls and boys.
Wrapping paper and shiny bows fly.
Opening cards and lace, they untie.
Parents enjoy cleaning up the mess.
Little ones take a break from academic progress.
Most eat a Turkey for dinner or lunch.
Not us! We go to a Chinese buffet to munch.

Bounce Counts
How many bounces can one bounce an hour?
More than enough to make my mood grow sour.
Bounce, bounce, bounce.
My heart counts.
The ball bounces constantly as they tower.

Happy Winter Solstice!
Is finally and happily here.
The Earth's tilt is the reason
Why we have the winter season.
It actually does feel cold,
Wow, I have grown old.
My little one does not know,
What the fuss is about snow.
Hopefully soon he can touch
The stuff of which we don't get much.
I have made chicken noodle soup.
We tell stories as a family group.
We watch movies and play.
We bake cookies and cook tamales all day.
Flowers will bloom after they wilt.
To a celebration of winterly tilt!

The End
There once was a world named Earth,
That was filled with joy and worth.
Humans had a fit,
Then destroyed it.
Now there's no more cheer and mirth.

Rogue Meteor
It has tremendous girth.
Scientists alert about their find.
People pray the impact will be kind.
The end of the world may be near,
Fueling the fire of flaming fear.
Raids for supplies quickly take place.
In bomb shelters, some hide and pace.
As paranoia exponentially fans,
There are meteor destruction plans
Scientists do the math
To drive it off its path.
Maybe there will be a spacewalk
To blow up the giant rock.
The world's ills don't seem to matter.
People become madder and sadder
At the hopelessness they feel now.
This can't be the end; no way, no how.
They all take a deep breath and hold.
The air grows still and cold.

Green Stocking
The birth of our son, we cheer.
Traditions, we usually don't follow,
But stockings aren't left hollow.
We give favorite candy
And items that are handy.
Little things, we like to share.
Sharing things shows we care.
We have red, blue, and now green.
Until it's time, gifts are unseen.
This tradition our son can take delight.
May he find fun toys and tasty foods to bite.

Shingle Swells
I was hoping to write about inertia today for Science Saturday, but since I am not feeling well, this is all I have.
Shingle swells, shingle swells,
Shingles on my face.
Oh what fun are these hives.
I'd rather be sprayed with mace.

Sickness Fatigue
Surely, we have met our fill.
Our days go up and down.
We frequently frown
At what may possibly be wrong.
To calm us, I sing a little song.
I've never been this sick.
Hospital visits have been hectic.
It makes me sad
That both of us feel bad.
I don't want to be a constant fretter.
Hopefully, soon we will get better.

Stop The Bullies
Bullies are green.
Bullies attack.
Bullies talk smack.
They don't fit a mold.
They don't do what they're told.
Bullies blackmail.
Bullies are male and female.
Bullies follow.
Bullies are hollow.
They cheat and lie.
They make you want to cry.
Bullies control.
Bullies patrol.
Bullies steal.
Bullies tell you not to squeal.
You don't need to take it.
Tell an adult to make bullies quit.

Procrastination
Saturday's post will be a little late due to a busy schedule. The topic will be about gravity for those whom are interested. Thank you for reading!
December is hot.
Parents are always tired.
Sleeping sounds so sweet.

Foggy December
Humid swarm
Of choking wet gas.
Eriely entered the rolling mass.
The grass has dew
And the streets do too.
The water is cool
In the swimming pool.
The fog dances
As the air prances.
I take a stroll,
Which takes its toll.
Tricks are played on my eyes.
For clarity, my mind tries.
I can't see
And I can't break free.
My mind is full of a bog.
All I see is the fog.
